CPL Productions is a BAFTA award-winning independent television and radio production company run by Danielle Lux (formerly Controller of Entertainment at BBC and C4), Murray Boland (formerly Controller of E4 and MTV UK), Heather Hampson and Janet Oakes.
The company’s output spans primetime entertainment, comedy, drama and factual entertainment, featuring some of the UK’s best talent, both on and off screen. CPL (formerly Celador Productions) also owns a rich back catalogue of formats.
An impressive roster of hit shows includes Sky One’s BAFTA-winning A League of Their Own, ratings-busting spin-off, A League of Their Own: US Road Trip and the return of Harry Hill to our screens in Harry Hill’s Tea-Time, ITV1’s Off Their Rockers, All Star Mr & Mrs and hit drama Brief Encounters, Channel 4’s Married At First Sight and upcoming How Did You Get So Rich?, and BBC One’s Decimate and The Hairy Builder.
CPL Productions also has a thriving radio division and is one of the BBC’s handful of suppliers from the indie sector. They create and produce comedy, entertainment, and drama for Radio 2 and 4.
