It has been a very busy week here at Ian Johnson Publicity!

Beryl Vertue Tribute

Our dear friend Beryl Vertue, founder of Hartswood’s Films and Executive Producer of BBC1’s “Sherlock”, was honoured this week at BFI with her very own “In Conversations With”. It was so nice to see friends, family, colleagues and admirers alike gather to pay tribute to the television legend. Here’s a photo of Beryl with her two daughters (and Hartswood Board of Directors) Debbie and Sue Vertue.

Youngers Screening

That same night, another bit of our crew were in the bustling neighbourhood of Peckham for the screening of E4’s new drama “Youngers”. We jam-packed the Peckhamplex with the cast, crew, journalists, Mandem on the Wall and special guest, actor Idris Elba.

Here are some tweets from the night:

To think that was only Tuesday!

Here’s a few things to look out for:

– Our fearless leader Ian is in South Africa on the set of Sky’s Mad Dogs and Strike Back

– Miranda’s back… and has a surprise for Poplar on this Sunday’s episode of Call The Midwife

– Thom is busy preparing for ITV’s Ice Cream Girls

– Rich is doing a photo shoot with the girls –  Hannah Murray (Cassie), Kaya Scodelario (Effy) and Lily Loveless (Naomi) – of Skins for the new series!

And much, much more…. Watch this space!
