About the TVChoice Awards

The TVChoice Awards celebrate TV’s most popular stars and shows. The glamorous awards are always packed with familiar faces for the annual prize-giving ceremony, this year held at The Dorchester on Park Lane.

IJPR identifies the top stories of the night, manages exclusive access for This Morning – the unofficial broadcast partner – and hosts a print and online press table inside the ceremony.

TV Choice Awards 2016

In 2016, in order to guarantee coverage in the next day’s press and media, IJPR facilitated early attendance from Dame Barbara Windsor to secure an exclusive interview with Good Morning Britain as well as official photography with her Outstanding Contribution to Television Award.

On the night, IJPR ran a number of media rooms including photography, online, radio, print and TV, as well as a winners’ room later in the evening. Follow on publicity included pitching clips packages to broadcast outlets, pushing out social tweets, comments and photos from the event, alongside directing and monitoring the numerous press outlets wanting to cover Tom Hiddleston’s now-famous acceptance speech where he enlisted the help of a couple of friends – Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba!
