We are looking for a highly-motivated, confident and conscientious individual to join IJPR Cymru in Cardiff.

Contract: Temporary, Full-time (6 months)
Start date: June (TBC)
Closing date: Friday 3rd May

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Capturing assets and content on set to be used on social media.
  • Editing content for digital distribution using Final Cut Pro and Photoshop.
  • Assisting in press visits to set or locations.
  • Managing and assisting photographers when required.
  • Ensure smooth running of daily tasks around set including press enquiries and assisting specific publicity photoshoots and filming.
  • Input into project reports and analytics (including social media analytics and insights).
  • Planning, organising and attending screenings/premieres/events.
  •  Review all work-in-progress at the start of each day and prioritise to meet any deadlines.
  • Working with senior members of the team on the creative process developing concepts, mood boards, etc for photographic and video content.

Entry Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Highly-motivated self-starter able to use initiative.
  • Highly computer literate – adept in the use of Microsoft Office, email and social media platforms.
  • A knowledge of editing software such as Photoshop, Lightroom and Final Cut Pro is desirable but not essential.
  • A knowledge of social media scheduling and analytics software (Hootsuite/Tweetdeck/Sprout etc).
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of the television industry.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic.
  • Reliability, punctuality, politeness and the ability to operate efficiently under potentially stressful conditions.
  • The ability and desire to occasionally work unsociable hours.
  • Full driving licence and a car is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, displaying strong interpersonal skills and self-awareness.
  • Must be professionally credible and able to build relationships effectively.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is an advantage to this role.
